MADE IN PALESTINE SHIPPING FROM PALESTINE

The gift of choosing the olives that will produce the famous oil is passed down from generation to generation in a secret process that has not changed for over 5000 years. 15 kgs of olives are needed to produce 1 liter of our oil and only 150 kgs of olives from our AL-BADAWI olive tree are selected at each harvest. Respecting the selective process that discards any deteriorated olive that would suffer from oxidation, as well as a compulsory colour and size, only about 10 liters of extra virgin oil can be produced with each harvest from the olives of the AL-BADAWI olive tree.

Our olive grove is located in Al-Walaja, near Bethlehem, in the holy land. The valley of Beit Jala is known worldwide for the quality of its olive trees and olive oil, the variety of our olive is the famous HUWARI. Because of its exceptional age, AL-BADAWI gives its fruits the strength and ingredients in the right quantity when ripe. AL-BADAWI gives to its fruits the strength that has allowed it to face more than 5000 years of history in a world with its climatic and environmental changes. THE OIL OF THE HOLY LAND

The olive tree owes its name to a wise man from AL-WALAJA who used to come to meditate and pray under the olive tree, his name was Ahmed AL-BADAWI, he was well known for his gift of healing and meditating with the words of God. Many locals are convinced that the olive tree receive divine powers from Ahmed AL-BADAWI.

An elixir of life of 5000 years

Despite the harsh climate of the area, the climatic changes and the pests that have devastated numerous olive trees, AL-BADAWI has never received any chemical treatment to fertilise or cure it.
